FLASHBACK... FEBRUARY 20, 2013... BREAKDOWN...

Roeper Hart: "Get out of here!"

Syren: "Not quite. See, you know that title. The thing he loves more than you or your kid. Well, it's coming with me. So you may want to start working on getting a boyfriend to let you feel like a woman-"

Roeper slaps Syren and Syren turns and Helms then steps forward.

...

...

Jake Starr: "Roeper!"

Jake steps forward and immediately goes over to Roeper and hugs her.

Roeper Hart: "I'm fine...I'm fine."

Jake Starr: "They didn't try-"

Roeper Hart: "No...no...just trying to get in your head, talking about how they're going to be champion and how you love the title more than me."

Starr just steps back and rubs his face. He then looks around. He then turns back.

Jake Starr: "You're okay though?"

Roeper Hart: "Yeah..."

Roeper then looks at Jake as if something's wrong.

Roeper Hart: "What's wrong?"

Jake Starr: "Nothing...nothing..."

Starr then turns to the cameraman as Roeper sits down.

Jake Starr: "Get someone to get my belt from the ring."

...

...

Jake Starr: "You son of a bitch-"

Syren: "You may want to hold off. Don't need the Board to call you in again!"

Tommy Valentine: "Forget something Jake?"

Jake Starr just glares at them.

Tommy Valentine: "You need to be more careful with the one you love. Isn't that right?"

Tommy then turns and drops the title at Jake's feet.

Syren: "Need to treat it better too!"

Syren smiles as they turn and walk off. Jake just glares at them, waiting for them to leave before he grabs the title. He looks at it and takes a deep breath before turning and closing the door.

END FLASHBACK...

As Breakdown ended, there was a lot of emotions running rampant in several camps. In particular, a lot of emotion has surrounded the SCW World Champion, Jake Starr. At Breakdown, the world witnessed the Hell-bound tandem of Dark Fantasy and The Next Level try and get into Jake's head by approaching Jake's wife, Roeper, in the locker room, while Jake was inside the ring with Tommy Valentine. It was a move that immediately caught Jake's attention, and forced him to change his focus. Once the match ended, he was able to make a b-line for the locker room, only to arrive moments too late, as Roeper was alone in the locker room.

With everything that happened, Jake he wasted no time to get Roeper on the first flight out of Minneapolis, and back to Des Moines. In his mind, things had finally gotten "too close to home," and he felt she would be better left at home, where she could be protected by Jake's parents, Shawn, and any of Jake's other friends who Jake instructed to protect her. It was a move Roeper fought back against, but lost. Jake was able to get her out of the city, and back home, while he stayed behind in order to fulfill some other commitments that he had made, post-Breakdown.

In the Twin Cities, Jake made appearances, did autograph signings, met with local radio shows, and did much of the necessary PR that comes with being the World Champion. He noticed one thing, however. The conversations didn't center around his victory against Thirteen, or his upcoming defense, but surrounding what happened with his wife. Everyone wanted to know Jake's feelings, his thoughts, and his expectations on the matter. They were things Jake, honestly, didn't want to discuss, so he did his best to skirt around the topic, and get back to topics he felt were more important. In some interviews, it worked, while in others, it just turned into more and more pressing questions.

They finally all came to an end, and Jake was able to hop in his car, and make the trek south, back to Des Moines, himself. After five hours in the car, he finally pulls into his driveway, with everything still on his mind. He gets out of his car, grabs his gear, and slams the door. He takes a deep breath, knowing that once he walks into his house, everything that happened, everything on his mind, and everything that he has tried to ignore will finally come to head. Knowing how everything went down still has him perturbed, so he wastes no time, wanting to get it all out in the open with those within the family.

Jake storms in the front door, and makes a beeline for the entertainment room, knowing the likelihood of everyone being in there is high. As he enters, he immediately sees Shawn, Roeper, and his father all sitting around the television. Each person, respectively, hears Jake walk in, and turns to look in his direction. Roeper, knowing in her heart the most likely situation about to unfold, immediately takes notice of Jake's face. Before she can say anything Jake immediately launches into a tirade.

Jake Starr: Ok... I'm going to be honest, I cannot believe that happened at Breakdown. I cannot believe that those fucks would go back there and put Roeper in danger... I mean, this is fucking serious! It's not a fucking joke to me! They went out there, and they crossed the fucking line with me! They DARED to walk back there, and try and harm her... That just crosses the fucking line!

Roeper Hart: Jake... I am fine...

Jake Starr: The hell you are! I was out in the middle of the ring, and they decided to try and screw with my family! This fight is between them and me. This war is between them and me. Nowhere in there is any name mentioned outside of THEM and ME! The fact that they're using MY FAMILY as a fucking pawn in their game means they don't know how fucking dangerous that I am. If they are willing to go through that much hassle to get in my head, then they are honestly willing to harm Roeper and go further than that. I am NOT about to allow MY FAMILY to be in fucking danger.

Roeper Hart: Jake... I wasn't in any danger...

Jake Starr: Don't be stupid... You know JUST as well as I do that you were damn near getting jumped.

Shawn quickly comes into the conversation.

Shawn Wright: Man, did you see the video of it? She slapped the damn taste out of that bitch's mouth!

Jake isn't amused with Shawn's encouragement for Roeper.

Jake Starr: Cut it, Shawn...

Shawn Wright: Why? The whole fucking world saw it, too!

Jeff decides to chime in as well.

Jeff Starr: Jake, Shawn is right. I spent many days and many hours with her, making sure she knew how to stand her ground, and what she may face when she walked into that locker room. Hell, we even discussed it! Don't you remember that, son? I told you that she would be ready for someone, should they decide to get in her way.

Roeper Hart: ... And honestly, Syren may be forced to actually "wrestle" you, but if she decides to get in MY face, I'm not forced to abide by that protocol. So if Syren wants to fight, and comes my way, I'll beat the living shit out of her.

Jake simply looks over at his wife with a stern look in his eye before responding.

Jake Starr: No...

Jeff tries, again, to reason with his son.

Jeff Starr: Jake, you need to separate yourself from the personal aspects of this. Roeper is there to support you on a personal AND business level. You need to understand that, because she's there on a BUSINESS level as well, it means she will be in harms way. It is something that comes with the territory. It inevitably means she'll be forced into some type of physical confrontation. You should know that, son. You should know this business. You've been involved in this industry for your entire life. You know how this goes! You're smart enough to realize this! You cannot be so naive, and think that Roeper can be out there to support you, but somehow avoid the physical nature of it!

Jake Starr: Dad, I'm not fucking naive, here. The fact is, since she is now in danger, she's done. She's staying home now. I'm not going to be the one responsible if and when she gets hurt.

Jeff Starr: But you wouldn't be responsible, son.

Roeper Hart: Your dad is right, Jake. I can handle my own business. When I came on the road with you, I did so knowing what all was possible.

Jake Starr: Well good for you... I'm not OK with you being in harms way. It's too fucking real to me now.

Roeper Hart: Well Jake, I don't particularly care. It was real to me from the very start. It is time that you understand that. I'm going there to stand by you through thick AND thin. I understand the risks involved.

Jake Starr: No, obviously you don't. If you did, you'd remember your daughter. If you were fully understanding the risks, you'd stay home and protect your daughter.

Roeper is immediately appalled at Jake. She quickly jumps up, and gets right up in the face of her husband.

Roeper Hart: Listen here, Jake... You need to remember that you have gone out there night after night, and put your fucking body on the line, while we all stayed at home and worried if you were going to come home OK. Hell, one time you came home, and you had lost yourself. You were a God damn shell of a man. Time and time again, I have had to live with a man whose emotions are always on his sleeve, and always dictating how he acts around the house. If you have a bad day, you don't acknowledge ANYONE exists. There have been period where I felt like a single fucking mother. It's time you understand that I am here, too! I am tired of being forgotten or being the one who is just in charge of picking up the pieces when you have a break down. I want to be part of your life outside of this house as well.

Jake wastes no time firing back at Roeper.

Jake Starr: You're part of my life, PERIOD! That includes INSIDE and OUTSIDE the ring.

Roeper Hart: Well I want to feel like it more. I want to be able to tell our daughter exactly what it is her daddy does, once she understands. I want to be able to not just say "Daddy is a wrestler, and look at the prizes he won," but be able to tell her stories about being out there with you. You need to realize that while I am a mom, I'm capable of being a strong mom. I don't want to just be the "consoling" mom. I want to be someone Mara can look at, look up to, and be proud of as well. Until she was WAY older, she wouldn't see a stay at home mom as any kind of "hero." So I want to be one too.

Jake Starr: I get that... It's just not safe!

Roeper Hart: I don't care... I'm not concerned with safety.

Jake growls.

Jake Starr: Yeah, well I am.

Jeff realizes the emotions flying around, and tries his best to calm them down.

Jeff Starr: Jake, you need to calm down. Roeper is a big girl, and she can handle things.

Jake's head immediately shifts over toward his father.

Jake Starr: Dad, that isn't the point here. If something bad happens to her, guess what, it's on MY HEAD. It's MY responsibility to protect the mother of my child. If she gets hurt, how am I supposed to explain that to Mara? How am I supposed to explain I couldn't protect her mother? I can't be in two places at one time, so if she's in the locker room and I'm in the ring, I'm screwed! After what happened, she HAS to have protection. These guys have obviously crossed the line, and are willing to do WHATEVER IT TAKES to get inside my head, and take what I have worked so hard for. I'm NOT willing to jeopardize anything.

Roeper chimes back in, with a very serious and stern tone in her voice.

Roeper Hart: I'm going to be there.

Jake turns back to his wife.

Jake Starr: No... You're not...

Jeff tries to reason with Jake.

Jeff Starr: You know, why don't you have her at ringside, then? Then you wouldn't have the worry about being in two places at one time. I mean, you can obviously see how content she is on being there. Maybe if she was within your view at all times, it would help your mindset.

Jake Starr: Am I supposed to be able to focus on multiple things like that? Am I supposed to be able to defend my title, and look over my shoulder to make sure she's OK?

Roeper Hart: ... What's more important, Jake? Me or the belt?

Jake Starr: You're more important, and you know that. This title, however, is a dream of mine, and it's something I have wanted more than ANYTHING in my career. This moment is what is what my entire professional career has been focused on. You know that! You shouldn't be buying into the BS that Syren tried to get into your head. THIS, right here, is EXACTLY what you have repeatedly encouraged me to strive for, and I want to keep it. At the same time, I want my family safe.

Shawn, once again, chimes in.

Shawn Wright: I have to say, Jake is right about that belt being a passion of his. It's something he's never been shy about. And he's also right that you can't let some stupid bitch get into your head. You know Jake cares about you.

Roeper turns back to look at Shawn.

Roeper Hart: I'm not letting her get into my head. I just want to make sure Jake realizes that his family is still important, too.

Jake Starr: Oh I know... It's important enough to me to want to keep it safe 24/7.

Jeff Starr: Jake... She will be OK. I've seen what she's capable of, and what she's learned. I have made sure to teach her everything I could, so she would be ready for whatever she may run into...

With those final words, Jake just looks down in silence. In his heart, he feels being inside the arena is a bad move for Roeper, but also knows that his wife is as stubborn as they come, and the likelihood that he'll be able to keep her from joining him is slim. He also worries that the added stress of having Roeper on the road, especially with how things went down, could cause him problems.

He wants to remain atop the world of Supreme Championship Wrestling.

He wants to be the guy who leads 2013 into its pinnacle moments.

He wants to be the guy who SCW leans on.

He wants to be considered the best in the business.

With everything going on, he worries that these desires may not come to fruition. He worries that he might not be able to keep his composure, and focus on business, when inside the ring. If that is the case, Syren and Dark Fantasy have already won the first battle in the plot to take over the World Championship. They will have gotten inside Jake's head, and made him question everything. But if he can overcome this mental shakedown, then he will prove one thing, and it is a big one. If he can bust through the games of Dark Fantasy and The Next Level, Jake will prove that he is not going to let anything get in his way of achieving WHATEVER he wants, WHENEVER he wants it, in Supreme Championship Wrestling.

Jake Starr: In the world, there is a common belief that there are Ten Commandments that dictate how one is supposed to live their lives...

"Thou shalt have no other gods before me."

"Thou shalt not make yourself an idol."

"Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain."

"Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy."

"Honor thy father and mother."

"Thou shalt not kill."

"Thou shalt not commit adultery."

"Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor."

"Thou shalt not covet."

These are the "laws" that are supposed to help people live the most "ideal" life in the eyes of their Christian deity. Ideally, they give people a framework that, if you ask me, basically defines common sense at its finest. I mean, think about it... "Thou shalt not kill." Well... No shit! I mean, who really sits there and looks at these rules and thinks, "well crap, why didn't I think of that?" It is something I have always truly wondered. Who doesn't know that, in Christianity, you are in a monotheistic society, and you are supposed to have one God, and one only.

It just honestly has always boggled my mind!

What has boggled my mind even more, is why the world seemingly has omitted the ELEVENTH Commandment. I know what you're thinking. I know you're sitting there, and you're thinking that all through your days, sitting in Sunday School, never once did they teach you the lesson of the Eleventh Commandment. Hell, they probably never even mentioned it existed. You probably all have sat around believing that only ten exist, and that's it.

Well, I hope you strap in, because The Reverend Jake is about to educate you on something that you never learned about before!

Jake pulls out a white collar and throws it around his neck. He decides to embrace his role as the "Divine Leader" of the next few minutes. He looks down toward the ground, then back up with a bit of a sparkle in his eyes. He sighs, then exclaims out of nowhere...

CAN I GET AN AMEN?!

Jake pauses and listens. The response is silence, and he cocks an eyebrow.

I SAID... CAN I GET AN AMEN?!

The production crew finally responds with a resounding amen.

There we go! Now we're feeling the inspiration of JEEEEEESUS flowing through our veins!

The LORD is with us!

It was in the Book of Exodous where it all began. So if you would all take out your Bibles, and turn to that book, Chapter 24, Versus 12 and 13...

"And the LORD said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them. And Moses rose up, and his minister Joshua: and Moses went up into the mount of God."

As it stated, the Lord summoned Moses up to Mount Sinai, to bestow upon him the laws that he was to teach to his followers. These laws were the building blocks of life. These laws were to help lead the heathens on the path to RIGHTEOUSNESS! But you see, followers, when Moses came down, he came down with MULTIPLE TABLETS of laws. Now, sure, Mel Brooks made a bit of a mockery of this by having Moses have five laws written upon three tablets, one crashes, and the numbers went from 15 to 10. Now, I don't know about you, but even if that were true, don't you think Moses would have a better brain than that of a goldfish?

I mean, we all do understand that our divine Lord gave Moses MULTIPLE tablets, correct? We all understand that on large tablets of stone, they didn't chisel in a 40 point font type, right? You realize that, in the holiest book we covet, it explicitly says that he was given "tables of stone," correct? Well when our Lord bestowed the commandments on Moses, there were many. Moses made the decision to only convey ten to his followers. There was one commandment that Moses opted to ignore because honestly, he didn't feel it was one that was as important as the rest. It proved the unfortunate character flaws of humans. It proved that humans are capable of twisting things to profess a message that they feel is more important.

But the fact is, this, the ELEVENTH COMMANDMENT, was one that, while Moses may have opted out of teaching it, I am not scared to pass along this knowledge to those who continue to follow the word of the Lord. The Eleventh Commandment...

Jake rips the collar off of his neck, and spikes it to the ground. The look on his face is immediately shifted from the funny "preacher man," to a much more serious and angry look.

"THOU SHALT NOT FUCK WITH JAKE STARR'S FAMILY!"

The outburst immediately conveys the amount of emotional impact that the events of Breakdown had on Jake. It's a complete mood switch that is a bit uncharacteristic of Jake. Usually he portrays the dramatic, and builds into the comedic routine he is known for. This time, however, it is a different story. This time Jake gave the world the opposite, and it's something that definitely conveys how serious of a message Jake has come to deliver.

That's right, folks! There is an elevent commandment that by disobeying, you officially open a can of worms that will cause there to be HELL TO FUCKING PAY! And believe me when I say that it is not just a boastful claim, but it's fucking fact!

At Breakdown, Dark Fantasy and The Next Level showed their true colors. They showed a sense of fear that I didn't think they could have. I figured they would be the types of people who would show a nice, gargantuan sized, pair of gonads, and confronted me head on. I figured that they would do what they could to fight me, and prove that they weren't a bunch of yellow pieces of trash.

But sadly, I was wrong!

Instead of proving themselves to be people who actually want to show why Syren's World Championship reign wasn't a hands-down fluke, they instead doubled down. They didn't confront the champion. They didn't attack me, like people who might actually realize that I am the one who holds the cards to their Utopia, that they want to create. They instead decided to try and get inside my head. They decided to try and fuck with me, by not only intimidating my wife, but putting the threat of attacking her into Roeper's and my head. They wanted to play a game that, honestly, just lost them any hope they had of walking away with the World Championship.

See, this M. O. they have tried once already. They tried to do this EXACT THING, when I was about to face off against Thirteen for this very title. They wanted to try and screw me over in any way they could because they realized once I became World Champion, all hope was lost. So they forced me to defend my wife once, and I was reprieved. The Board of Directors realized I had to defend my family's safety, and they didn't punish me. It's something I am grateful for, but at the same time, have moved on from. That whole "I can't touch you" mentality has come and IS GONE! I'm not scared of "playing tag" with a chair anymore, and honestly, I don't have anything to lose by doing so. And honestly, it may be something I'm forced to do because face it, I was willing to put this championship aside to defend Roeper against those pukes once, and I will NOT hesitate to do it again.

So when I was at Breakdown, and I saw they were doing this again, I wanted to leave right then and there. Tommy had other ideas. He wanted to try and steal the victory, and then force me to have to witness their continued tormenting of my wife. He wanted to get out of the ring before me, to force me to have to get back through him, to get to my wife. Once I had him beat, I was able to get out, and get to the back. When I got there, and those punk asses had already sneaked away, it showed me their gameplan. It showed me how they're going to try and win this. It showed me that Syren knows she has to completely distract me from defending this title in order to feel she has a shot. It showed me how little confidence she has in her game.

But there are smarter ways of doing what she is trying...

Jake feels the tension build in his neck.

When she decided to go after Roeper, and try and bring her into this, she crossed a very fine line. See, in this business, there is a professional world and a personal world. It is something that a lot of people try to keep separated from one another. It's something I've done most of my career. I've left my personal business at home, and taken care of my professional business at the "office." But Syren, she and her gaggle of hens decided that I didn't get that pleasure, even though I know from experience each one of them is the same way. They feel that they have some RIGHT to intrude on my personal life, like that, because why? Because they're fucking Dark Fantasy? Because they're the fucking Next Level?

Fuck all of y'all!

If Roeper had come to the ring with me, if she had been ringside, if she had been right there where the cameras could go, "oh look, Roeper's here in Jake's corner," then you know what, that means she was brought into the professional world. That means she was brought out there, and would be complete fair game to "the business." But where was she? Where was my wife, when I was competing? Was she out there? Was she in the middle of the match? Was she banging on the ring apron, trying to will me to victory? Was she looking worried each time I was hit by Tommy?

NO YOU FUCKING ASSHOLES! SHE WASN'T!

Instead, she was in the back, minding her own fucking business. She wasn't trying to goad anyone. She wasn't out in the open. She was in OUR LOCKER ROOM, watching on a fucking monitor. She wasn't anywhere where Syren, David, or the "muscle" herself, Ravyn, could have even stumbled upon her, on their own. And that realization, that knowledge that she wasn't looking for inclusion tells me one thing... They sought her out, and they want to try and take her out as a sacrificial lamb, all to get to me.

It's juvenile...

It's childish...

IT'S A FUCKING BITCH MOVE!

See, that's why none of them have ever made formidable World Champions. That is why very few remember the reigns of David Helms, Tommy Valentine, or Syren, atop the world of SCW. They didn't leave a fucking mark because they didn't have the talent to be memorable. They want to fix that by going this route. They know that beating me for the World Championship will at least be a catalyst. Syren also knows that David wasn't ever able to utilize it when he beat me, so she's hoping to change it. She also knows I've been bringing an A-game that nobody has truly been able to solve. She knows the deck is not in her favor.

So this was her idea of a "game changer." This was what was supposed to bring things DOWN to her level. Well bitch, it didn't. You crossed a line that nobody has ever crossed with me, and honestly, I'm willing to take a loss, as long as your career comes to a bleeding end. You DARED to allow you and your friends to walk into my wife's personal sanctuary, and intimidate her, threaten her, and try and get into my head? You dared to cross that boundary, that wasn't even REMOTELY in your path? You went OUT OF YOUR WAY to bring my personal life into your little game... Well you succeeded. You did what you wanted. You got my wife involved.

Now you will pay the penalty...

I know in your head, this is just like what happened with David. I know you think that Roeper was involved there, I lost, history is on the verge of repeating. Well this time IS different. See, with David, I let Roeper come into the mix, and voice her displeasure. I wanted her to be involved, so she could air her grievances on the matter. David had a direct impact on her life, so I wanted her to have that forum, like I had. With you, she has no history. She didn't feel the need to be out in the open, and I didn't feel she needed to be either. This thing, between you and I, has gone on for years now. It's culminated to this moment. And I had wanted it to be that moment where you stepped up, showed me why you deserved to be champion, and I did the same. But you couldn't do that. You couldn't bring yourself to actually PROVE that you weren't just some schmuck.

You had to resort to crossing that line...

Jake snarls.

It's something I won't allow to have happened without someone paying the price. I will make sure that each of you involved rue the moment you decided to intimidate my family, and threaten them. You want to think that I'll put this belt before them, look at fucking history. Look what happened when your little cronies tried to screw me out of my title shot. Did I think about the title first, or did I protect my family first? I did what ANY spouse would do. I defended my wife, I protected her, and I made sure that family came FIRST and FOREMOST. I didn't care about the title then, and if you continue to play that way, I'll be sure it's in the back of my mind, as I beat you and whatever pieces of shit you bring with you.

See, I've proven I can climb the ladder again. I know I can get back to the top. Before I beat Thirteen, I didn't have that self confidence. I knew I had to win, and I did it. But it opened my eyes. It showed me I can still hang. So if you were to win, my life wouldn't be over. The opposite can't be said for you. This is your chance to redeem yourself, and silence the critics. I'm going out there to shut you down, and make sure you understand how WRONG you were, including my family. Win or lose, I plan on leaving the arena with the knowledge in my head that I made a point to hurt you. If I can hurt you physically, AND hurt you emotionally, by leaving with the Championship, then guess what, your entire World Title reign will be JUST what many already believe it is... A farce!

When the dust settles, you will need to remember you brought it all on yourself. I am a man defending his family... Not the World Champion defending his title. It's a truth you may not believe, but when you leave, you'll realize I saw through your plan, and I foiled it. You'll realize that you crossed a line that brought you a lot of pain and a lot of suffering...

You'll realize you broke the most pivotal and crucial Commandment known to man... You fucked with me, and now you'll be fucked up!
